Herbal Products

*DISCLAIMER* Please remember that everyone is different and responds to oils differently.  As such I cannot guarantee the exact same result as others might experience.

Due to building demand for simple products that I have made and been using, I now offer back-to-homemade options for a variety of custom situations.  See below for the list of available options and ingredients.  All prices are plus tax.

Herbal Salve

1/2 oz - $5

1 oz - $17

2 oz - $23

It started as an idea to use on my young girls for their bumps and scrapes and has grown from there.  It is good as an all purpose salve (for dry skin, chapped lips, etc).  It has also been tested as effective for:

- helping minor cuts and scrapes

- relieving itchiness from mosquito bites (and once a mild case of chicken pox)

- helping reduce pain and swelling from wasp bites

- amazing as aftercare for fresh tattoo work

Ingredients:

Coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, calendula, tea tree, lavender

ADHD Salve

1 oz - $9

2 oz - $15

When a friend approached me about a combination of oils that she heard might help her son with some issues that could be attributed to ADHD, my first thought was to both diffuse them and create a salve that could be applied as needed.  I made a test batch for her, and within a day she was astonished at the way it seemed to help.

Ingredients:

Coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, lavender, cedarwood, vetiver

Directions:

Rub a small amount onto back of neck, inside of wrist, back of knee and bottom of feet (especially under the big toe) as needed.

Mermaid Spritz

60 ml - $12

120 ml - $18

I think all girls at some point dream about being a mermaid, and they are always known for their beautiful, long luscious locks of hair.  Even if long hair isn't your thing, healthy hair always looks gorgeous.  The four oils in this spritz have been shown to help hair growth, strength and health.  I also use it as a detangler when I am brushing my girls' hair.  *Bonus*  You know those times you get the note home from school about a lice issue and you hope they don't hitch a ride on your kid?  Three of the four oils have also been shown to be effective at deterring head lice.

Ingredients:

witch hazel, lavender, cedarwood, rosemary, white thyme

Shingles - Part A

$11 per oz

A close family member had recently been diagnosed with a shingles outbreak, and all I knew offhand was that it could be incredibly painful and uncomfortable.  I was sure there was a way I could use oils to provide some comfort and maybe even help a little bit.  A bit of research and I whipped up a small batch that could be used for the first part of shingles; the rash part.  The oils were picked for reducing the itchiness and helping keep the area clean.  While it's not a miracle cure, I did get a report back that they could feel a definite difference when they applied the oil.

Ingredients:

Aloe vera, almond oil, lavender, tea tree, bergamot

Directions:

Apply with a cotton swab to affected areas 3-5 times per day.  Please note, bergamot can be photosensitive so be cautious about applying to skin that will see a lot of sun.

Shingles - Part B

1 oz - $8

2 oz - $14

In my research on shingles I learned that the second part of the outbreak is after the rash blisters and pops; the person is then left dealing with the scabs that can be itchy.  So a salve made with helpful oils would be beneficial at keeping the itch down and preventing cracking.

Ingredients:

Coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, juniper berry, rosemary, peppermint
